Shatta Chawal/Arabic Mandi Rice
Shatta Chawal/Arabic Mandi Rice is originally an arabic dish served with chicken broast. But i have done some experiments with that dish and found an amazing new and unique recipe for veg and non veg too.It is soo light to eat and too easy to make.So what are you waiting for ,just look below ,not the recipe and make it now.Do remember to give me your valuable feedback.
Green Chilli 3-4
Water as required
Rice one cup
Salt 2 tbsp
Potato 3 medium sized
Red Chilli 1 tsp
Oil for frying
Wash one cup rice with water and soak it for half an hour.Then in a blender take 2-3 tomatoes coarsely cut,3-4 green chillies,1 tbsp salt and about half cup of water.You can also add few drops of lemon juice in it.Your Shatta is ready. Blend it to make a paste.Transfer it into bowl.You can garnish it with green chillies.
Boil rice in a pan with one cup water and 2 tbsp oil.
In another bowl take sliced potatoes,add garam flour,salt 1 tbsp,red chilli 1 tsp.Add water to make a thick paste.Coat all the sliced/finger potatoes wih this mixture very well.Then in a pan heat oil.Add coated finger potatoes in it.Deep fry it on medium flame in hot oil for 4-5 minutes.Then transfer it onto a butter paper or tissue paper to soak its oil.
