Mutar Pulao/Peas Pilao

Matar Pulao is a healthy Recipe for lunch as well as dinner.Make this and Serve with Raita.

Ingredients for Matar Pulao:

Basmati Rice 1 cup

Water for boiling 2 cup

Peas/Matar 1/2 cup

Sliced Onions 1/2 cup

Crushed Tomatoe 1 cup

Green Chillis 1/2 cup

Oil 1 cup

Black Cardamon 2

Cumin Seeds 1 tbsp

Coriander POwder 1 tbsp

Cinnamon 1 stick

Cloves 2-3

Bay Leaf 1

Procedure:

Heat oil in a pan.Add 1 tbsp cumin seeds 1 bay leaf and otherMatar Pulao spices. Saute for 2-3 minutes.Then add sliced onions in it  and leave until onions are golden.Add water  and Peas in it.Cook for 3-4 minutes.After that add tomatoes and green chillis in it.Let the water boil.When it is boilied add washed and drained rice in it.Cover the pot and cook the rice for 5-7 minutes.Your Yummicious Matar pulao is ready Enjoy it withSalad  and Raita.
