Kofta Gravy/Kofta Curry

Kofta Gravy/Kofta Curry is a famous Pakistani/Indian Main coarse dish.It can be served with salad.You can make it on Eid ul Azha. You can make it instantly if you have frozen the meatballs.


Onion large 2
Tomatoes large
Green Chillies 4-5
Water as required
Oil 1/2 cup
Salt 1 tbsp
Paprika Powder 1 tbsp
Coriander powder 1 tbsp
Turmeric Powder 1 tsp
Garam Masala 1 tbsp


Kofta Gravy/Kofta Curry

In a blender add 2 large onions,2 large tomatoes and 4- 5green chillies. Blend with water to make a thick paste.Heat 1/2 cup oil in a pan on medium flame.Add that blended paste into it.Add 1 tbsp salt.After that add powdered masala including Paprika powder,turmeric powder,coriander powder and garam masala. Keep the quantity according to above mentioned.Do not change the quantity.It will alter the taste of your curry.

Fry the masala until the oil begins to separate from the masala. If needed add some water.After that add 9-10 Meatballs in it.fry for 5-6 minutes then add 1 cup water for gravy.Let it cook on high flame until water starts boiling.After a boil cover the lid.Lower the flame and cook on medium flame for 10 minutes.Transfer into a plate.
