Hari Mirch Ka Achar

Hari Mirch ka achar is a spicy Pickle that you can serve with Paratha or any rice.This can be used if you dont want to eat any Gravy.You can serve it anytime.It enhances the taste of any Handi. So make it and enjoy a bit different and spicy taste with any your meal.


Green Chillies 1/4 kg
Vinegar 2 cup
Salt 1tbsp
Turmeric Powder 1 tbsp
Red Chilli Powder 1 tbsp
Red Crushed Pepper 1 tbsp
Garlic Cloves 7-8
Fenugreek Seeds 2 tbsp
Black Seeds 1 tbsp
Cumin Seeds 2 tbsp
Coriander Powder 2 tbsp
Fennel Seeds 2 tbsp
Mustard Seeds 2 tbsp


Hari Mirch Ka Achar

Wash and dry 1/4 kg Green Chillies well and place in any airy place for 5-10 minutes.Add 2 cups of vinegar in it.Add 1 tbsp salt,1 tbsp turmeric powder,1 tbsp red chili powder,1 tbsp red crushed pepper and 7-8 cloves of garlic.If you don’t like garlic you can skip it.Mix well with any plastic or wooden spoon.Place it in any open place for 1 hour.

Meanwhile in a pan add 2 tbsp fenugreek seeds,1 tbsp black seeds,2 tbsp fennel seeds ,2 tbsp cumin seeds and 2 tbsp of mustard seeds.Dry Roast it for 5- 7 minutes on medium flame.Let it cool.Then transfer it into a blender.Blend it into a coarse powder.Add this to the vinegar soaked green chillies and mix well with a plastic or wooden spoon. Don’t use Steel utensils for mixing in Achar /Pickle.
