Gol Gappa/Pani Puri

Gol Gappa is a well known spicy street food in almost all around the world.Now you can make this spicy snack at home.Your kids will love it.Provide them a healthy home made food.

Ingredients:

For 90 Gol Gappa:

All purpose Flour 1/2 cup

Semolina 1 & haf cup

Salt as per taste

Luked Warm Water for kneading

For Filling:

Boiled Potatoe 1 cup

Beans 1/2 cup

chopped Onion 1 cup

Chick peas 1 cup

For Pani:

Tamarind 1/2 cup

Mint 1 cup

Salt 1 tbsp

Cumin Seeds 2 tbsp

Lemon Salt/Tatri 1 tbsp

Water 6 cups

Procedure:

For Gol Gappa:

Mix flour,semolina and salt well.Knead well with luked warm water. Place aside for 15 minutes.Knead again.Place it aside again for 15 minutes. Roll it out and cut round shaped slice with a round cutter.

Heat oil in a pan in medium flame. Put the round shaped slice in it.Wait for it to come up. Flip and press it to puff it up. Deep fry iuntil it gets golden and crispy. Place them on papaer naokin to remove excess of oil. Leave it for 3-4 hours so that it get more crispy.

For Pani:

Soak tamarind and leave it overnight. Take its water and grind it well with other mentioned ingredients.

For Filling:

Simply mix all the mentiond vegetables in a bowl. Add salt and 2 tbsp grinded cumin seeds.Mix well. Add in gol gappa. You can also put Cream and Ketchup on Gol gappa. Also Try Mutton Karahi. Grabb more tasty & tried recipes here.
